On Mala’s actual birthday Mala got to sleep in the bed with us the night before, more for us than her…we tend to get a little sentimental on her birthdays. We woke her up with party hats for her and Bear, a cupcake and presents (basketball hoop and clothes). After dropping Anil off at work we went to the mall with Papa and Gigi and Mala got to ride the Merry go round and train several times…a perfect day for Mala. The weekend before she received a beautiful pink Schwinn tricycle from Papa and Gigi.
Her Birthday party was 10/2/10. We grilled hamburgers and hot dogs in the back yard. The weather was perfect and the mosquitoes had finally retreated for the summer. We had strawberry cupcakes with cream cheese icing. It was a great day!
